Primary Care Public Health Nursing Service

Scope of Public Health Nursing Services Student Health Service l              Provide comprehensive health programmes in promoting and maintaining health of school children to maximize their potential in educational development; l              Assess and identify the health needs of students by using Health Assessment Questionnaires; and provide specific health advice through individual interviews, health counselling and health promotion activities; l              Plan, implement and evaluate health education activities for students to strengthen their adoption to healthy lifestyle; l              Participate in planning and implementing quality health promotion programmes for adolescents, parents and teachers via a multi-disciplinary team approach in school settings.
