This technique
draws a team toward consensus in a logical, objective way. |

| Procedure
: |
- Start with
a list of options.
- Choose the
criteria, the scoring system, and the desired score.
- Draw the
grid with the criteria and scoring across the top and the list
of options down the left side.
- Consider
each option in relation to the criteria and write the score on
the grid.
- When the
grid is completed, evaluate the findings.
- Determine
whether other criteria, or an adjustment in the existing criteria,
are necessary.
- Select the
best option.
