System?
Author : Cynthia Chan, Wun Yuk Tsan, James Dickinson
Description :
The study compared patients' knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP)
of medicine use among different family practice settings. Variations
in patients' KAP on medicine use among family practices were related
to healthcare system factors (e.g. payment method and accessibility),
patient-factors, doctor-factors and the doctor-patient relationship.
Family physicians appear to influence their patient's view in different
healthcare settings. Supportive practice systems that foster long-term
patient-family doctor relationships and encourage greater information
